Beginning at fifteen with the significant step of leaving home, my life unfolded, progressing to marriage at nineteen, and then to motherhood with the births of my first child before twenty-one and my second child at thirty-one.

My legal name is Chantel, but I’m known professionally as Kathy; I use this pseudonym as a freelance author and blogger, specializing in creative writing, and I regularly share my experiences and progress as I work to complete my first novel.
